Please know that we take that very seriously and want you to know that we are here to honor your request. All intake requests are reviewed by the Biblical Care Team Intake Coordinator. If your request is sensitive or urgent in nature, and you do not wish disclose the information via this form, please call 985-292-3138 and leave a private voicemail for the Biblical Care Intake Coordinator with your contact information. All calls will be returned within 24 hours from the time received.
Church of the King provides spiritual encouragement and support through individual and couples ministry to those seeking to be renewed, equipped, and strengthened in their relationship with God. Our Biblical Care team is made up of non-ordained and unlicensed volunteers, aka Biblical Care Team Members. We use Biblical principles to encourage and support people who are dealing with spiritual issues. We reserve the right to take any relevant matters (at the discretion of the BC Team Member) to the spiritual covering of Church of the King's staff, elders, and/or leadership. Church of the King reserves the right to terminate any ministry relationship where it is determined that a person’s needs or objectives are inconsistent with the objectives and capabilities of our Biblical Care Team. Biblical Care Team members will undertake to protect information shared in confidence. In situations, however, that indicate a potential danger or threat to persons, we will take appropriate steps that may include the disclosure of information to third persons and to law enforcement authorities. Please note, Church of the King does not provide psychiatric, medical, or mental health treatment, but we can assist you with identifying a local professional mental health provider.
