Child dedication is a moment in which parents make a public commitment before the Lord and their church to raise their child according to God’s Word and His ways. Church of the King desires to partner with you as together we lead your child to love Jesus, love others, and love life. It’s also a time for you, as parents, to commit to model what following Jesus looks like and to raise your children to understand that they are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, to believe that the Bible is absolute Truth, and to know the importance of committing to a community of faith through the local church. Child dedication acknowledges that each person is a gift from God and was created by Him for a purpose. At child dedication, parents are declaring that they will raise up their children in the ways of the Lord.
